Description

I had to make a logo for the fictional mattress company SomNum. When I think of a soft mattress I think of waking up in the morning, and I need to get the day started but the mattress is just so comfortable I don't want to get up. I wanted the logo to encapsulate that feeling. I made the background the color of a cloud during a sunrize and I made the word SomNum into a cloud with the sun rising behind it.

Notes

This was a project I worked on early in my college career, so it's not as polished as I'd like it to be. I think the shapes of the letters could be better and if I was doing it again I would give the letters shading instead of the outline.
